I was moved to do something!

That is the reaction of listeners when they hear Dr. Robert Jackson speak. I have attended pro-life events every year for the past 30 years and have heard many speakers, but none have moved me as much as Dr. Jackson. As his former pastor I have heard him speak on several occasions and have witnessed this man’s life as a living example of what it means to “speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.” People listen to him because they know that he knows what he is talking about.

As a father and grandfather, a medical doctor, a Bible teacher, and an experienced pro-life activist, God uses Dr. Robert Jackson to inspire, educate, and mobilize people to “do something” by praying, volunteering and financially supporting Pregnancy Centers. He spoke at our local Pregnancy Center where we received our largest number of commitments ever. I heard so many leaders asking, “When can he come back?”

Let me encourage you to consider inviting Dr. Robert Jackson to speak at your next event. You will be glad you did!

Biography

Follower of Jesus Christ, husband of Carlotta, father of nine, grandfather of ten, and family physician for 39 years all in Spartanburg, South Carolina, I grew up in the lower part of the state in Manning where I began to love medicine while watching my dad minister to his patients with compassion and competence. My dad told me I could attend any college in the country, but if I went to Clemson, he would pay for it. While at Clemson, I participated in Campus Crusade for Christ, helping me grow in my faith since being saved at age 11. Graduating from Clemson in 1977 and the Medical University of SC in 1981, I arrived in Spartanburg for my family practice residency and never left. My wife and I hoped to be medical missionaries in Thailand, but a health problem effectively ended that. Nevertheless, in addition to practicing family medicine all of these years, I have traveled to about 20 countries on foreign mission trips. I helped to start the Carolina Pregnancy Center as well as three other CPCs and have been an advocate for the unborn since the mid-1980s for which I received the Order of the Palmetto from Governor David Beasley. Currently a trustee at North Greenville University, I have served on my denomination's national Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission as well as our state's Christian Life and Public Affairs Committee. I also serve as a choir member, deacon and teacher at my church as well as the missions director, helping to minister to an unreached people in the far corner of eastern India. An award-winning author, I have written three books based on my ministry opportunities The Family Doctor Speaks:  The Truth About Life, The Family Doctor Speaks:  The Truth About Seed Planting, and The Family Doctor Speaks:  Turkey Tales and Bible Truths. I can be reached on the web and FB at Jackson Family Ministry. You may also hear us at the More Than Medicine radio show and podcast.
